Fennel essential oil has a spicy, sweet and woody scent and its colour is clear to pale yellow having light consistency.
Origin:
It originated in France.

It is extracted using
steam distillation process.
Chemical composition:
Anethole, Myrcene, Cineole, Eugenol, Methyl Chavicol, Thymol, Limonene, Phellandrene, Alpha Terpene, Pinene, Fenchone, Geraniol.
Therapeutic properties:
Antiseptic, antispasmodic, carminative, depurative, diuretic, expectorant, laxative, stimulant, splenic, stomachic, and as a vermifuge.
Uses:
Fennel essential oil can be used in the treatment of:

- obesity

- It is also believed to be invigorating, restoring, stimulating, and warming
Precautions:
- It may cause skin irritation.
- Dilute it well before use.
