Properties:
Petitgrain essential oil smells like orange blossoms with a bitter, woody and herbaceous undertone.The colour of this oil is pale yellow to amber and it is watery in viscosity.

Origin:
It originated in France.

Extraction Method:
Petitgrain oil is extracted from its leaves and twigs by the process of steam distillation.

Chemical composition:
Geraniol, linalool, nerol, y-terpineol, geranyl acetate, linalyl acetate, myrcene, neryl acetate and trans-ocimene.

Therapeutic properties:
Antiseptic, anti-spasmodic, anti-depressant, deodorant, sedative and nervine.
